This was a great, great movie... I was very impressed with how well the movie stuck to the book. The first time i read it, I didnt like it much, because they never stopped walking, but i saw the movie and loved it. I'm reading the book again now and its movie is exactly like the book down to every quote, if you havent seen this movie. The Repose Entity of by furthermore visual fiction to fiction.

Old wonderful memories. world should be like the shire

Take me to the Shire. I wanna live in there with the hobbits. What a good place it would be to retire! Good old fashioned gardening, chess playing, hanging out with friends of old, and best of all, watching innocent kids running and playing and laughing. The level of detail and effort put into this movie is absolutely insane. like, they created a new way of making chain mail cause you can't use really chain mail due to the weight but fake mail just looks fake. so they figured out a new way of making realistic but light chain mail and then proceeded to HAND MAKE hundreds of costumes. even just that aspect is completely insane and it's only one example.

1x16 dude where my sword. Why are most sci-movies made with dark scenes. It's like in the great stories Mr. Frodo.

1x06 road to WASABI BOOM GOES THE DYNAMITE BOOM I SAID BOOM. 3:40 is the part I came for. 3:40 is the best 💝💝 love that music. Imagine watcing this movie for the first time and learning that the man who you did not expect to be anything other than a ranger and soldier is actually a descendant of isildur.

Best scene in the trilogy. 2:13 chills. I like this movie, but I like the book better. I'm just now half way reading it for the 6th time over the last 40 years or so. Watching these scenes on youtube, I have to say they definitely rewrote the dialogue for higher movie going drama. Aside from the theme that plays out in Two Towers where Legolas goes shield surfing, this is one of my favourite lotr soundtracks. personally, both the LotR and The Hobbit trilogies are perfection. 3:38 The part we all came here for. I Loved predator vs alien when the predator bored a hole down to the pyramaid To Whoop Some Alien A. Now that was a cool story line.
